Dr. Stephen D. Tse is an assistant professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University. His research focus is in the thermal sciences, involving applications in propulsion, materials synthesis, energy and environmental issues, MEMS, and fire safety. His research methodologies encompass experimentation
including laser diagnostics, computational simulation of complex flows and chemistry, and mathematical analysis. He has developed and designed novel diagnostics and experiments that have flown on the Space Shuttle or are being planned for the International Space Station. For more information, see
