Jeffrey G. Marchetta received his B.S. (1997), M.S. (1999), and Ph.D. (2002) in mechanical engineering from The University of Memphis.  He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Memphis in 2002 where he is currently an Assistant Professor.  Jeffrey Marchetta received the AIAA Abe Zarem Award for Distinguished Research in 2000.  His prior experience includes working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a research associate and consulting with Orbital Technologies Corporation.  His research interests include the modeling of flows with free surfaces, verification and validation of computation simulations, and magnetic fluid management in reduced gravity.
