A former Marine Corps test pilot and squadron commander, Dr. Casler has a B.S. in Engineering Physics from South Dakota State University, a M.S. in Aeronautical Systems from the University of West Florida, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from North Dakota State University. His doctoral studies concerned space-based manufacturing processes from a human factors perspective and his doctoral dissertation is titled “Human Diagnostic Performance in Vigilance Tasks: Implications for Space-based Manufacturing Systems.” In addition to Business Development at Veridian Engineering, he currently lectures on Crew Station Analysis at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and as an adjunct professor at Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Casler is a professionally registered engineer in North and South Dakota and in Maryland. His interests with respect to Microgravity and Space Processing focus on the development of commercially viable space-based industrial processes and operations. |
