Michigan Technological University (906) 487-2005 Robert O. Warrington, Jr., is currently the Dean of Engineering at Michigan Technological University and was both the founder and director of the Institutie of Micromanufacturing at Louisiana Tech University. He served on the faculty at Montana State University for eight years, was the head of the mechanical and industrial engineering department at Louisiana Tech for 11 years, and was director of the Institute for Micromanufacutring from 1991 to 1996. Warrington served as an associate editor for the ASME/IEEE Journal of Microelectromechanical systems and has made numerous presentations. He has earned 37 research grants from foundations, government, and industry. Ph.D. (1975), Montana State University. He has been honored by being named an ASME fellow.

He has made contributions in the areas of second law analysis techniques, solid-vapor absorption heat pumps, and solid oxide fuel cells. He has contributed to enhanced laboratory offerings at Georgia Tech and nationally through innovative experiments and laboratory developments. He has been honored by being named an ASME fellow.

Professor Steele served on the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at Mississippi State University since 1979, and as head of the department since 1990. He is one of the dozen Giles Distinguished Professors, who are recognized by the University for excellence in teaching, research, and service. He has conducted research extensively on the area of Mississippi lignite fuel, an area of crucial importance to the state. This speaks well of his ability to perceive and act on the interest of the state economy.
