The goal of the Mechanical Engineering Division is the advancement of education in all of its functions which pertain to mechanical engineering, including the processes of teaching and learning, research, professional interactions, extension services, and public relations. Accordingly, the Mechanical Engineering Division sponsors technical and educational sessions at the Annual Summer Meeting of ASEE. The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is a nonprofit organization of individuals, institutions, and companies dedicated to improving all aspects of engineering education. The Mechanical Engineering Division at one time published a magazine titled Mechanical Engineering News, which in the past was prepared and mailed out three times per year. The publication costs to subscribers and libraries were nominal. At this time, Mechanical Engineering News is published on the Internet at this site. Previously published issues of Mechanical Engineering News are in existence. If you need an article and the issue it appears in can be located, a copy can be made and sent to you.
