Call for Papers (General Request)
The AEWG is inviting submission of titles and abstracts for the presentations at the meeting and early registrations. In addition to the program outlined below, since the meeting is a workshop, time is allocated to impromptu or late submissions at the meeting. Topics to be discussed at the meeting will cover all the areas of acoustic emission testing, including but not limited to:
Material fracture and fatigue failure mechanism
Infrastructure health monitoring
Geosciences and rock mechanics
Orthopedics and biomechanics
Manufacturing monitoring
Diagnostics techniques and procedures
Codes and standards development
Instrumentation
Abstract Submission Deadline: July 31, 2008
Abstract Acceptance: August 10, 2008
Student Submission: Students are encouraged to submit a paper to be considered for the Student Best Paper Award.
