The Mission of the Mechanical Engineering Department is to: provide a quality program of instruction that will prepare our students for a successful engineering career; accomplish research of significant regional and national interest; provide practicing engineers a source of continuing education; and play a leadership role in service to the public, to the profession and to industry.
